Kashin In: The Four Squad Brawl for All Edition (12-7-2015)

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of Ka$hin In with Keila Ca$h. Tonight’s episode of Raw emanated from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina. Believe it or not, this is the go-home show for TLC which takes place Sunday from the TD Garden in Boston Massachusetts. WWE hasn’t exactly dazzled us lately from a creative and booking standpoint and one would hope that they had something up their sleeve to shock us for all the right reasons. The League of Nations is not exactly Evolution, but at least they are not The Corre. Yet. In light of this new development, how did Roman Reigns respond to the latest setback in his quest to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? The answer to this question can be found throughout this blog. Without further ado, let’s dissect tonight’s episode of Raw in no particular order.

Old School Spotlight: Magnum T.A.

Magnum TA

In the long storied history of professional wrestling, many spandex clad gladiators have grabbed our attention and captured our imaginations. These colorful characters remain in the deepest recesses of our minds years after their glory days in the ring have passed. The most memorable grapplers from our years of wrestling fandom are often those that we encounter early on in our initial discovery of the mat game. This column will take a look at some of the most bizarre, flamboyant, charismatic, and downright terrifying pro wrestlers of all time.

The PWA Show: On The Right Path…..

Producer’s note: Hey guys sorry for the late post time Halfpint was really excited for Nakamura Okada so he stayed up to watch Nakamura take his RIGHTFUL place in the finals of the G1 Tournament. After much begging and calling he FINALLY got up and worked on the show. He’ll give a round up next week as the finals of the tournament take place this weekend.

The Mental Ward: Lights, Camera, Action…..

I first discovered pro wrestling in the mid-1980s. “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes doing battle with “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton inside a steel cage is one of my earliest wrestling memories. However, when I saw “Nature Boy” Ric Flair and Sting go 60 minutes at the first Clash of the Champions, I was hooked for life. THAT was storytelling. THAT was drama. THAT was pro wrestling. In my youth Hulkamania ran wild. In my high school and college years, The Attitude Era redefined the industry. In my adult years, things just haven’t been the same. A spark is missing. The sport I loved has morphed into something almost unrecognizable at times. Yet, I still watch. I cling to hope that pro wrestling will one day again return to past glory. Webster defines insanity as doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result. Ladies and gentlemen, come on in. We’re all friends here. Welcome back to, “The Mental Ward.”

Kashin In: The Green Arrow Enters the Fifth Dimension Edition (8-10-2015)

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment of Ka$hin In with Keila Ca$h. Tonight’s episode of Raw emanated from the Xfinity Arena in Everett, Washington. WWE thought Everett didn’t sound like a big enough city. Therefore, they decided to say that the show took place in Seattle since the cities are 25 miles apart. Sneaky.

A rough rain shower disrupted my satellite service earlier tonight. Due to Mother Nature, I am skipping the regular introduction and getting down to the business as the march towards Summerslam continues. Without further ado, let’s dissect tonight’s episode of Raw in no particular order.

The PWA Show: The Dream Lives On…..

This week’s episode serves as a tribute to “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes who passed away suddenly this week. Chad & Keila discuss his career and examine the everlasting impact he has had on the sport of professional wrestling. Several memorable Rhodes promos are played throughout the show to pay homage to the memory of this larger than life icon. Your co-hosting duo also cover the usual news topics from this past week around the world of pro wrestling and they give their predictions and analysis on the upcoming WWE Money In The Bank PPV extravaganza. However, Episode 22 is all about “The Dream” and celebrating the life of one of the most charismatic, entertaining, and influential talents in the history of professional wrestling. We hope you enjoy this very special edition of The PWA Show……YOUR pro wrestling authority……if ya will !!!

Kashin In: The Raw is Mother Nature’s Worst Enemy Edition (4-6-2015)

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Ka$hin In with Keila Ca$h. Tonight’s episode of Raw emanated from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. This week’s show would give us a clear indication of what’s hot and what’s not in WWE. With Brock Lesnar indefinitely suspended/vacationing on his John Deere Tractor in Minnesota, it’s important that the company keeps the main event scene interesting while the mid-card begins to heat up with John Cena and Daniel Bryan holding the Intercontinental and United States titles respectively. Will Roman Reigns continue to step up to the plate after his strong showing at WrestleMania? Most importantly, will the fans join him on his quest to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion by working his way from the bottom to the top? The answer to these pressing questions can be found throughout this blog. Without further ado, let’s dissect tonight’s episode of Raw in no particular order.

Glam Slam: NXT (3/11/15) & WWE Smackdown (3/12/15)

Hi there everyone! I’m Stephanie York and I’m here to give you all the juicy details from this week’s editions of NXT and WWE Smackdown. Things should start really heating up as we are cruising down the “Road to WrestleMania”!
NXT – 3/11/15
  • Big Cass & Enzo Amore Defeated The Lucha Dragons. The crowd was in favor of Cass & Enzo the entire match; they even booed The Lucha Dragons at one point during the match. Cass and Enzo are my picks for the future NXT Tag Title contenders. They are incredibly over with the Full Sail crowd. They also would be a great addition to the main rosters tag division which could use some help. They have the perfect balance of entertainment value, and in ring chemistry to be an asset. So, How you doin’?

The PWA Show: A Memphis State of Mind…..

Memphis Heat

Chad and Keila are back this week to cover all the news from around the world of professional wrestling including: familiar faces returning to NXT; the tag team scene in the WWE; newly filed lawsuits involving WWE personnel; the major star that has parted ways with TNA; the crowning of a brand new NWA World Heavyweight Champion in Japan; and much more. The duo also examine the card top to bottom for this weekend’s WWE Fast Lane Pay Per View from Memphis, TN. Staying with the Memphis theme, the director of the critically acclaimed film, Memphis Heat: The True Story of Memphis Wrasslin’, Chad Schaffler, joins the show to discuss the making of the movie and his love for Memphis Wrestling in this week’s “PWA Hot Seat” segment. “The Gimmick Table” returns taking a look at several other pro wrestling documentaries available for purchase that are worth every dime. Chad also shares with Keila the rules for the newest creation from our loyal listeners of the show, The PWA Drinking Game. So sit back, relax, and enjoy another heaping helping of wrestling goodness from The PWA Show, YOUR pro wrestling authority!
